Probably gonna be pretty long, Byler fic following the Mixtape that never was. I made the playlist myself linked below. Starts during the winter after season three and before spring aka season four. Was there like a whole year in the middle there?? Who tf knows but for this there was not! I am writing this for my own closure and to UNDERSTAND mike wtf. So I hope you enjoy! Mike has been having nightmares more and more, he feels lonely without Will and El, the beginning of HS has been hard, he’s in his own head a lot and he’s slowly learning how to accept himself and in turn his love for Will. He loves music and DND and those two things paint his life. This fic will follow an abstract structure but largely follow the canon events we will just be in Mike's head for them! OBVI I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR THE PORTIONS OF THE STORY THAT ARE CANON LIKE THE DIALOGUE AND BEATS HAHA. Also don’t be fooled by just how much I and Mike love Eleven THIS IS A BYLER FIC ALL THE WAY. Her body lurches forward, tumbling blindly into dark air.
She screams, grasping at the blackness around her and finding nothing to hold onto.
There’s the loud clanging of a grandfather clock in her ears, ringing against her skull like she’s inside of it, or it’s inside of her.
And then, finally, she lands on a mattress.
…
Or, Robin gets stuck in a time loop of the night they try to kill Vecna, and everyone keeps dying!

If that was where Steve had been attacked, that meant that the gate was just a few feet behind her. Nancy whipped around, stepping blindly forwards, eyes raking over the ground ahead of her.
The gate was nowhere to be seen.

The Mind Flayer’s connection was dragging him down with it into the depths of oblivion. Perhaps the universe still has one kindness to spare for him.

Will is sent back to the summer of 1985 after he dies. He gets strange visions and enlists the help of Jane Hopper to recover his memories and hopefully save more than they could last time around.
