One thing about Will Byers was that he did not confess to people. Not because he thought he was too good for it. Actually, quite the opposite. When he fell in love, he forgot how it felt to be a functioning member of society. Instead of risking the chance of being seen as an absolute creep, he wrote letters that he kept in a velvet, heart-shaped box.
