Mike shook his head quickly. His pale cheeks flushed, covering his freckles in a faint pink like he was embarrassed, or maybe warm. Will told himself it was probably just the basement lighting. Or the heat.
“No,” Mike said. “Like… the other game.” He rubbed his thumb against the edge of the blanket, not looking at Will now. “The one where you dare each other to do stuff. And you have to keep going until someone backs out.” He swallowed. “Chicken.”

In hindsight, Mydei should have thought better of trying to outdo the Coin of Whimsy in a Truth or Dare match, but Cipher played it just right that he chucked his sense of preservation out the window. The dare is simple enough: confess to Phainon in the middle of the Marmoreal Place. Rather mortifying, but a Kremnoan is nothing if not steadfast in the face of adversity. While he’d normally be a bit worried about proceeding with courting as per Kremnoan custom, he is sure Phainon will see through the ruse and turn him down. He has absolutely nothing to worry about.

Though, Megan thinks, maybe, Dani’s belief in her ability to keep ahold of herself is too forgiving and unwavering. Megan was so gay in that live—and all she can think about since that night is Manon, Manon, Manon. She hasn’t had that much fun in a while, and despite that live being everywhere—shared with the whole world, despite it’s deletion, lost media, right?—those inside jokes feel special regardless.

He really liked Inoue Waka, and he’d scope out the magazines at the convenience stores, flipping through the photos of the models and idols. Suguru would stand next to him with his selection of drink and snack in hand, browsing the magazine titles. And Satoru would show Suguru the ones he thought were cute and would comment on them.
Now that they’re in fourth year, Satoru has become downright vulgar with his comments. Suguru has never said anything when Satoru’s tendency flares up. But for some reason, today, Suguru speaks.
