Summary
Entering the dark halls, it all begins to make sense for Wolfgang. Husbands, traditionally, have always relieved stress or emotion through beating their wives black and blue, painting them with scars before kisses.
And Wolfgang, with the face of the wolf and yet a soul reflective of its prey, becomes the sacrifice of Mother. The thought of it brings him a sliver of comfort, knowing he has no choice but to accept the fate of the doomed wife.

These stories are “Embodied Writing” I am the characters and they are me. They are a lifeline of survival for this failing body of mine. But despite its failures, the words must be written, such is the truth of hypergraphia and trauma writing. Accuracy is not as important as essence, never as important as survival, but I do try because I feel like I am failing both Zamasu and myself if I do not get him at least somewhat correct. But as is the case of chronic illness, it matters not to my body or mind how accurate I wish to be, somedays I simply cannot be.
To enter is to find a body of work that is not “Doll Writing” it is niche, it is unique and it is raw and visceral. Know this, as you enter its domain.

This is a "clean" version of my s4 rewrite Steddie fic "Be Kind, Please Rewind" I'm uploading for my mother and anyone else that's interested! (Mom, don't click that link 😅)
Shortly after season four came out, I decided I wanted to rewrite it with the premise that Steve and Eddie were already dating, but I also wanted to show how they ended up dating, and ... Two years later, the story is finally done. This is my magnum opus. I want to print this, bind it, and be buried with it. I hope others find as much joy reading it as I did writing it!

Maybe if that didn’t happen, he wouldn’t meet the heavenly-looking forensic pathologist. But there’s no reason in thinking about all the ifs and maybes when a string of seemingly unconnected deaths suddenly starts making a pattern. Now Aki has to solve that case with a pair of very annoying teenagers, mildly helpful coworkers and a very beautiful but lazy Angel from forensics.

Usually, they coexisted in silence; sometimes amicably, sometimes tensely, but always without a word. Azuma clearly expected it to be the same now, even despite the state he saw Kuji in earlier that day.
Leaning against the other wall and making a point of looking away, Azuma rummaged around in his pocket for his own pack and lighter. Tapping the box on his forearm, a cigarette popped out, which he stretched his neck down to pull into his mouth with his teeth. Kuji gulped thickly, jealous of both of Azuma for being able to smoke, and the cigarette for being between Azuma’s lips.
Kuji gets bad news and runs out of lighter fluid to boot. Azuma helps with both.
