Mr. Morningstar had told me to finish some paperwork during last night's meeting and place it on his desk as soon as I've gotten to work this morning.
He always demands me to show up before 7 a.m. while he never shows up before 8 a.m.
Never.
He forces most of the paperwork onto me, even though that isn't my role as his assistant.
It annoys me a lot that he avoids responsibility for anything, but he'll fire me if I call him out for it.
Even though it's so early in the morning there's two guards by each of the important rooms, such as the offices, meeting rooms, and two guards on either side of the entrance.
Two guards walk the halls.
They're armed with two pistols, fastened to their belts.
The guards that stand by the entrance, both inside and the outside also have spears.
The same goes for the guards by Morningstar's office.
I think I'd feel intimidated if I wasn't around the same height as them.
The guards are tall, 6,3-7,0 ft. tall, broad shoulders, muscles rippling under their ocean green uniforms.

The Spirits were once the next generation of gods. They were seen as a kind of child of that god. Supposedly how the legend says the gods were about to create all living, Humans were already planned. Everything Was. But something didn't sit right with the two spirits.
They didn't like the idea of the gods plan with the humans since those big and dangerous beings that the gods created before to test them out died so quickly. They suggested to test one human out to see what happens but it got dismissed by them.
So in secret they planed their own ideal Version.

Context: Reality Traversal is becoming more and more publicly accessible, and a group of individuals who are all regarded as being the same person but simply from different realities, are starting to rise to power and form an organization seeking to understand how existence works, control it, and keep reality traversal publicly accessible, but regulated. However they are willing to take non-diplomatic courses of action to prevent others from taking control and doing things the way they would consider to be wrong.
This organization has a paramilitary branch operating under it known as The Protectors, consisting mostly of mercenaries with private contracts, divided into teams.
The actual plot: Our story is about one of the teams, their newest and somewhat unwilling member being the protagonist, and their everyday work, which is mostly espionage until they receive a task that actually involves protecting for once.
This story is also going to be a lot more about the interpersonal relationships between the characters. The effects of living within multiple realities and being in contact with their counterparts. The effect that this organization has had on others, and what it means to be part of it.

Barty scoffs. "They won't catch us. What, with my wit and your brains? Reggie, we can burn the world."

Barty finally looks over. His glance is no longer fleeting or brief like they always seem to be. He has that grin on, too.

Regulus leans back against the seat of the truck. He tightens his arms where they're crossed on his chest.

Will’s brilliant green eyes open, hunger blazing. He kisses Will on the mouth, now, deep and wanting, hands on either side of his face, pulling Will toward him. Will accepts the kisses, accepts Mike’s wandering tongue, accepts his bite.

“Hey, what’s going on in there?” Chris’ voice crackled over Metal Sonic’s earpiece.
Metal Sonic beeped again, this time punctuated by an annoyed buzz. Did Chris forget already that this unit was not capable of vocal speech?
Metal Sonic gripped the child and her pet tighter, being careful not to hurt them with its sharp claws (organic lifeforms were so delicate), and continued to speed through the corridor, no longer caring if the security cameras spotted them.

Mer Jean fic about him being rescued from the Nest (officially called Edgar Allan's Raven Park), an aquatic animal amusement park shut down after an abuse investigation sparked by a public exposure by Neil and Kevin. All the Ravens (except the Moriyamas, who run the park) are mers. Jean was a wild capture from the Mediterranean when he was fourteen. Jeremy is an animal behaviorist tasked, along with everyone else at the USC Research ‘Trojan’ Aquarium, with rehabilitating Jean. Due to his trauma and injuries, including an amputated dorsal fin that affects his ability to turn in the water, and therefore hunt, he isn't a candidate for release to the wild, and due to the way the other Raven mers pick on him, he can't be housed with other Raven mers. These special conditions make him an ideal candidate for being the Trojan Aquarium's first and only mer. They also make him one hell of a challenge, but luckily for them both, Jeremy loves a challenge.
