After Harvey fires Mike for betraying him with Jessica, Rachel demands that Mike confess what he is hiding from her. But unlike in canon, Mike stands by his refusal to tell her, even though that means losing the last person in his life that he loves who hadn’t died or abandoned him already. Harvey overhears their fight and finds Mike collapsed on the ground and sobbing in the Pearson Hardman library after Rachel storms out the door, leaving Mike behind.
