Summary
On an isolated, terraformed planet the buildings are so tall they fall outside the bounds of the artificial air generators, forcing them to have their own supply. Both dark magic and high tech equipment are used equally, employed to create the ultimate weapons which they then sell off and ship to civil wars on other planets. Cursed items, surgery, medicine, and occasional gender reassignment are utilized to create their highest former human output:
Hound-Servos.
Many of them are kept throughout the unnamed planet as a number of things, essentially replacing the other planets' cores of automatons — servants, pets, sex toys, companions with implanted personalities, and of course assassins disguised as 'another hound gone rogue'. Many people advocate for stricter control of who can own, sell, and produce Hound-Servos, but it simply too profitable, and the law of the planet is nearly nonexistent after being bribed into inactivity. I'll be writing whatever stories appeal to me most in the setting first.

Charlie grunted in pain as she’d been violently flung by the hood of her sweatshirt - and then slammed against cold metal.
She recognized one of the huge garbage cans lining the outside wall of the office.
Pim cried out in fear. She had quickly resorted to attempting a plea for Charlie’s life.The man’s eyes were wide and manic; clearly excited by the tone of Pim’s voice.
The silver revolver returned to Charlie’s head, this time resting directly under her chin. Charlie couldn’t even process much of the position she’d been forced into before a white blur tackled the man to the ground.
Charlie fell too, head slamming against the garbage can.
“Fuck…” Charlie muttered in pain.
She could hear a distant scream from a woman, but she didn’t recognize the voice as Pim’s.“Pim…?” Charlie began to make her way to Pim uneasily. She began to crawl towards the noises-
What she saw made her fight a horrified scream.Deep clots of blood and organ were spitting at Pim’s chest and head. Her white button-up shirt had been soaked and ruined.
Pim’s curly brown hair had fallen out of place in the sudden violence. It hung at her chin, and pieces of torn flesh and organ littered the strands.

His stomach rumbled at the words. He hadn’t realised how hungry he’d been, but now it was all he could think about.
Doctor—Jeff—nodded and quietly slipped out the door.
Maybe-Doctor held out his hand. “Name’s Newt, Tommy,” the young man said with a grin. “I won’t overwhelm you with the nasty details just yet, but you’ve chosen an unfortunate world to lose your memory in."
