Summary

Summary
In a world where heroes dominate the media landscape, fourteen-year-old Izuku Midoriya possesses a quirk that seems almost laughably weak: "Plavsky Particles"—the ability to animate plastic models. His childhood friend Katsuki Bakugo mocks this "toy quirk," and Izuku struggles with the doubt of never becoming a true hero with what he believes a subpar Quirk.
Everything changes when his mother Inko discovers a dusty DVD collection belonging to her great-great-grandfather: the complete original Mobile Suit Gundam series from the 1980s. In this hero-obsessed future, the Gundam franchise has been completely forgotten, but for Izuku, it becomes a revelation.
Soon after, he meets and old Sei Iori, who shows him a warehouse filled with unassembled Gunpla kits. Now armed with an army of Mobile Suits, from the original RX-78-2 Gundam to the Zaku II, Izuku carries out his dream of a Hero.
But even society is reluctant to let a Quirk as "Plavsky Particles" flourish. The HPSC sees his ability dangerous and interesting, and Izuku may have to take a different road, a different path... -

On an isolated, terraformed planet the buildings are so tall they fall outside the bounds of the artificial air generators, forcing them to have their own supply. Both dark magic and high tech equipment are used equally, employed to create the ultimate weapons which they then sell off and ship to civil wars on other planets. Cursed items, surgery, medicine, and occasional gender reassignment are utilized to create their highest former human output:
Hound-Servos.
Many of them are kept throughout the unnamed planet as a number of things, essentially replacing the other planets' cores of automatons — servants, pets, sex toys, companions with implanted personalities, and of course assassins disguised as 'another hound gone rogue'. Many people advocate for stricter control of who can own, sell, and produce Hound-Servos, but it simply too profitable, and the law of the planet is nearly nonexistent after being bribed into inactivity. I'll be writing whatever stories appeal to me most in the setting first.

1947. The world is at war.
Fueled by the terrifying discoveries gleaned from the Rifts, World War II rages on, a stalemate whose outcome hinges on science and brutality. Great weapons of war emerge from hidded labs where men learn to create monsters.
Miho Nishizumi, a new volunteer from Manzanar Internment Camp, commands an M4A9 Sherman tank in Italy. Her older sister, Maho, already pilots a Linebacker drop mech in Holland with the 17th Airborne Division. Their only options are to fight or die. On the other side of the world, Kay Yoshitake works as an interpreter in the 4th Marine Division. She tries to save a few lives in a war against a brutal foe, one where surrender means death—or worse.
Across the lines, Klara Fedorova leads a genehanced platoon of Soviet women, the Daughters of the Motherland, propaganda super-soldiers. Her convictions are many. So are her hopes. Itsumi Erika is embedded with the Neu Armee, sent to inform the Japanese government how to use the monsters birthed from the Rifts. She seeks weapons that will preserve the honor of her Emperor. The Rift War permits none.

Summary
It turns out that being wired into a giant war machine doesn’t play nice with human brains. The Earth Mechanical Defense Force, or EMDF, learned that the hard way when their pilots started going… neurotic, let’s say, after a few missions.
The obvious solution to that problem was to simply wire the pilot into their mecha permanently, that way their mind wasn’t being strained by the constant in and out. Unfortunately that strategy backfired and the pilots started going neurotic much, much faster, and this time they were giant and made of metal and much harder to put down.
So, the obvious next step would be to pull the plug on that idea and go back to the drawing board, right? No, that’s ridiculous, the next step was obviously to simply…
Make the mecha forget they’d ever been human in the first place.
Somewhere along the line someone should have pulled the plug, but they’d already invested so much into the project, and you know what they say about sunk cost fallacy.
