Okay, so if Jax ignored the crippling heartbreak at the thought that his husband would never know what happened to him (and likely die due to their one sided mate bond) then there were really only three things working against him:
1- he was starving to death, but would likely die of dehydration first.
2- there was something weird about the ocean hell world he'd somehow found himself in that was causing his biotech to eat itself. His translator was bearing the worst of it, which prevented him from communicating with the fish-boy being kept prisoner beside him. His eye was faring better. All it did was occasionally lose all ability to see color for random periods of time. He was getting used to it.
3- he had absolutely no idea where he was, how exactly he ended up there, or how he would even go about attempting an escape from the crocodile pirates that had captured him. (Oh, and did he mention that for some reason he was caged on what seemed to be an ancient earthen sailing ship?)(summary may change. inspired by Star Trek Voyager, One Piece, the Cosmic Romances series by Mars Quinn, and more)

Danno groaned, his head was pounding and body aching. What happened? he wondered. Danno opened his eyes. He was tied to a wooden chair in a dimly lit room.
"Where am I?" He wondered out loud.
"I'll be asking the questions here." A voice said. The stranger approached, and everything came flooding back into Danno's mind.
"Who are you? Why am I tied up?" He demand. The stranger pulled out a gun and pointed it at Danno's head. His eyes widened in fear.
"Do one more thing against what I order, and I blow your brains out. Got it?" The stranger threatened. Danno slightly nodded, terror filling him.
"Good." The stranger said, putting their gun down.
"Who are you?" They asked.
"I'm Danno." Danno said.

After the unsuccessful test of a teleportation device in another world, Danno ends up in a new dimension, immediately forced into living a life of crime and taking down an evil government because of a certain rabbit monkey being his only ally in this strange new world.
