Summary
This work represents the alternate course of events in the second half of the second season. Hydron, being stripped away from his title and severely tortured, plans his revenge and escapes to the Earth to gain powers to defeat his mad tyrannical father - king Zenogeld IV, and he will not stop until he gains victory or death. But since at the moment of his escape he's unable to put up a fight against at least one of his former subordinates, he will travel across the US to know himself and find his way in a new world in which he might even remain in.

Summary
The lives of the humans of Station 14 are hard. They have run out of the precious materials they used to trade with and are now relying on hand-outs from the universe's dominant religion - the Guided Faith.
There is a catch. Every year, they must send a bride to be paired with one of the High Priests of the Guided Faith. Charity Braddick, a woman desperate to escape the ghosts that plague her on the station, decides to become a bride.
Father Januun is loyal to the Guided Faith and has been for most of his life. He abides by their tenets, including the one that bars Guided Faith from touching other beings. Secretly, he dreams of a quiet life on some backwater planet, and training Charity to be a good bride seems like a way he can earn respect from his superiors and get there. He never could have predicted that a human woman could make him question everything he believes.
Note: I published this here months ago, but I wasn't happy with it. I am slowly editing and posting it because I do like the idea and the story, and I do want it to be read!

Without second thought, he heads out to investigate why there is a clan ship there, what it was doing, when things going very wrong. Facehuggers have escaped, and infected the local fauna, creating serpents in the meantime. Now he has to hunt them down and eradicate them, only to find his path tangles with a human woman and he can't simply just brush her aside. Things get complicated. Fucking fantastic.
