It's set in the modern warfare zombie's universe for dramaticness. The protagonist is my silly billy OC Mage who has awesome superpowers after being experimented on. Ghost and Mage have very different personalities but Soap the absolute schemer plots to get them closer until they become besties! :))) Also pays homage to the comics cause I'm chill like that!!
**If you like Modern Warfare Zombies get on this fic right now because it wraps up some loose ends not wrapped up in the game and I just flipping love this universe :))**
I've written half this fanfic fully and the ending I'm gonna summarise in a chapter cause I can't really be bothered writing it RIP you should still read this though XD

Louis’ brows raise in shock but he seems to mask it quickly enough. “You’re planning to defend me in court and you don’t even want to know if I’m guilty of a heinous crime?” Louis sounds genuinely curious.
(Or the one where human lawyer Harry Styles is defending Louis Tomlinson, a witch accused of using black magic to kill another witch. Louis most definitely uses black magic, but Harry believes him when he says he didn’t kill anyone. Can they prove Louis’ innocence before the real killer gets to them first?)

But what happens when suddenly the GIW take a turn for the worst? When Danny is recued by Jazz, Sam and Tucker from the GIW, but is found open wide laid flat on a table. Tied to the table.
Danny has to runaway to the zone and his friends and sister follow him. Then what?And what happens when Constantine gets a word of the GIW tell Batman who then asks for a league briefing? A summoning is what.
And what happens when John accidentally causes Danny to show his 'monster' side? Trauma and friendship building is what.

Ivy is a living gargoyle, as well as the adopted daughter of the Arroyos. After spending her whole life crushing the Mendoza's, she finally got them out of Spanish Harlem and was hailed as a savior.
But now she has to move on and finally be something she has no practice in. A working adult. So she tries day by day to see the world past the little portion she lived in.
During that time, Ivy gets pestered by her sister Sophia for a while to try and put herself out there. Nervously she's taken a shot at a few guys, but they weren't interested, which she took alright most of the time.
Then he came along into her life one night, a boy whom she fell for harder than anyone ever before him.
(I really like Ivy and have seen literally nothing about her with a reader insert from anybody, so I'm throwing my hat in the ring. Also I wanna try making this my first long chapter count story not counting any cross posts from Wattpad, so look forward to more whenever I feel creative.
I wanna make a more dynamic story based around the readers character so don't expect every chapter to have too much in terms of sexy stuff.)

I’ve got one for you, if you don’t mind.” There was a long pause as he took in the atmosphere and drank some ale. “How about I spin you a tale of an unfortunate young man I call “Rook” and his journey to save the world? Sounds simple enough, right?” He chuckled to himself as he swirled the golden, bubbly liquid in his tankard. “That’s what I thought too. Turns out, this hero shit’s way over my head.” He took another sip of ale. “Look, I know what you’re thinking: ‘Haven’t we heard this story a thousand times?’ And the answer is: Maybe. But, that’s the best part about stories. You can spin the same one a thousand times and never come to the same conclusion. Sometimes, those conclusions aren’t always happy.”
Canon events from Veilguard are followed fairly closely early on, alongside partial canon rewrites in different areas. I'm not satisfied with how some of the story is written, so I decided to take it upon myself to flesh out my Rook more with some canon-divergence thrown in--more overall as the story progresses. This is also a multi-AU fic of sorts. Enjoy!
