Summary
Harry Potter grew up neglected and abused at the hands of the only family he had left. He was placed in a home where he was supposed to be cared for, only to be shunned and beaten for being a freak. Harry Potter had lost all hope before he knew how to read properly. He resigned himself to his fate, to never knowing the warmth of a home.
And then his Hogwarts letter came and with it the warmth he so desperately chased after.
But of course, it came with conditions.
Now used and once again resigned to his fate, he returns to the Dursleys for the summer after his second year. Unbeknownst to him, Sirius Black just broke out of Azkaban. One thing leads to another and Harry gets kidnapped by Sirius? Or atleast thats what Dumbledore thinks.
Here is where the story unfolds and Harry learns that those conditions ran much deeper than expected. Enemies turn friends. Friends turn foes. The golden trio isn't as golden as people think.
Oh, and Harry finally gets to feel the love of a family. A makeshift one, but one altogether. -

I tend to assume that removed bits of vampires rot and degrade at a similar rate to those of living humanoids, and at least as fast as it takes for them to replace whatever part it is through regeneration. But what if that isn’t how it works…?

Warnings for dubious use of compulsion and other vampire abilities, questionable physics, shady medical practices, problematic donor arrangements, suspect motivations, improbable timescales and debateable plausibility even within universe. It's also generally unpleasant and rather squicky. Frankly, the author just apologises for everything below this!
