The being was wearing a mask shaped like a crescent where a humans eyes would be. It had dirty blond hair that faded to a light purple at the ends that floated as if it was under water. Wearing silken robes that shared a similar color as the edges of its hair with darker purples and golds thrown into the mix. Its halo lit up the surroundings and accented his wings..

Leon has a problem. He studies… Sensitive material, and two massive Yautja just tumbled onto his front lawn trying to tear each other limb from limb. So naturally, he breaks it up with a fire extinguisher and snaps at them to get lost, thoroughly done with the whole thing and very much wishing to go back to his work now.
Too bad Yautja are really, really stubborn, and now they’ve turned his land into a little pit stop between hunts.
Sure. Fine. Whatever. As long as they’re not fighting, and they stay the fuck away from his house -and especially his workshop- he could not care less. It’s not like he gets many visitors, anyway. He lives in the butt-fuck middle of nowhere for a reason!
But then, they somehow get it into their heads that he would be a perfect 'dam,' being as headstrong and unbothered as he was, and several start trying to court him, all the while Leon has a very sentitive matter to attend to and can't afford any distractions!
How did his life come to this?!

The Killing Chord strikes Jingyi’s appointed boulder. It cracks that in half, too.
Not half a second after Lan Yuan follows Jingyi into the crevice, the yaoguai strikes the stone, talons scrabbling at the crevice, beak pecking at the entrance they’ve made themselves. A red, furious, glowing eye peers in after them, and Lan Yuan stumbles back blindly, vaguely downwards. He’s staring at the entrance, at the clear and present danger. Neither of them are looking backward.
In hindsight, it’s the worst mistake they make all day.
Wei Ying has spent years sealed under a mountain. It's just his luck that the kids who break him out of it are Lans.
