This resulted in years of academic rivalry, med school trauma-bonding with three other idiots (Erwin, Hange, and Miche), and Levi accidentally falling in love with the girl whose family signs his paychecks.
Current Status: They are now highly accomplished surgical attendings in Paradis Medical Center. There are no more exams, no grueling training hours, and absolutely no excuses left. But instead of confessing his feelings and asking her out on a date, Levi just keeps buying her coffee and food.
