Maybe Avery is still feeling the high of watching the body's life slip away from between his fingers. Watching as its wheezing last breaths slowed to a stop, and the feel of its organs twitching beneath his touch when he tried shoving them back into its body cavity—too much of a mess.

In fact, he was so desperate that even a fly passing by would be taken by Otoya as sufficient entertainment.

A crow.
Black, beautiful, shiny, and haughty, standing proudly on the outside windowsill while tilting its head with an almost insulting calm. It looked so serene and so in control of the situation that, for a moment, Otoya completely stopped hearing the professor and was left staring at the crow like an idiot, as if it were some kind of divine apparition that had arrived to save him.

Join Sakuma and Ushio as they navigate through the new struggles of their relationship and strive towards their ideal futures.
I wrote this because I wanted to cover the 3rd year between the ending of book 5 and the epilogue, to show how Sakuma and Ushio's relationship develops, and show a lot more of Ushio's struggle to develop her new identity. This fanfic will also include the main characters thinking about their futures as individuals, and what they want from life to feel fulfilled.

No tenía que ser algo grande, bastaba con que fuera algo sencillo como una grieta en la pared o algún compañero haciendo una tontería, es más, estaba tan desesperado que hasta una mosca podría pasar volando y Otoya lo tomaría como entretenimiento suficiente.
Y fue entonces que lo vio…
Un cuervo.
Negro, hermoso, brillante y altivo, parado orgullosamente sobre el alfeizar exterior de la ventana mientras ladeaba la cabeza con una calma casi insultante; se veía tan tranquilo y tan dueño de la situación que por un momento Otoya dejó de oír por completo a la profesora y quedó como idiota mirando al cuervo como si fuera una especie de aparición divina que había llegado para salvarlo del aburrimiento....

It happened like this. Zenitsu needed DJ work > Tengen needed a DJ > and Inosuke... REALLY needed this new roommate situation to work out, or he was going to lose his campus apartment. Tanjiro was just glad to book Zenitsu somewhere, he didn't look too closely at the venue. Samples were sent, contracts were signed, Zenitsu was gainfully employed, and it could have ended there. But it didn't.
Despite pining after his roommate for several months, Tanjiro was at a loss for how to get his attention. Out of nowhere, Inosuke gets him access to the...other half, of Tengen's club. The members-only BDSM sex dungeon, half. Where Inosuke has been performing every Saturday for two years, in one of the observation rooms. And what does he do the second Tanjiro's orientation starts? He ditches him. Leaves him sitting on his hands with a stack of waivers and a hot pink wrist band branding him fresh meat.
It's fine. Tanjiro enjoys a challenge.
