Clint found his safe haven by the beach and the shore, looking over the crashing waves and watching the sand get filled with toys and new-found shells.
Now it's just up to see if Bucky can do the same, and maybe, just maybe. He can learn how to surf while he does.

The storm is still two hours off according to JARVIS, but at this point, the team can’t communicate clearly over the roaring wind and they run the risk of injuring themselves or getting themselves killed if they can’t coordinate their rescue efforts. They’ll go back to the Tower, dry off, eat a hearty meal, and rest until the storm passes and they can resume their efforts.
Steve wonders how things have been for Clint, trying to manage Kate’s desire to launch herself into the storm with her teeth bared on the one hand and Jigsaw’s renewed fame in the midst of the evacuated crowds on the second and third floors on the other hand.
It’s an interesting time to be an Avenger, but when hasn’t that been the case?
(Or: The one where Hurricane Sandy is in full swing, Thor returns, and Jigsaw must face the consequences of having been recognized as Bucky. The therapy continues, the relationships heat up, and the found family grows. A direct sequel to Stitch Me Up.)

I don't know how to write summaries, I'm so sorry.
After Natasha and Clint helped Emelie escape her own personal hell, she is recruited as an asset for shield. There, she finds herself wrapped up in the invasion of New York. She's intrigued by the Asgardian seemingly hell bent on enslaving Earth when the man in front of her doesn't match the man in her visions.
Despite her secrets and past, can she still find a home within these misfits? Will she be able to keep them from destruction, or will she bring about her own?Set at the start of the Avengers (2012) and will be canon compliant until it goes off the rails. Loki isn't introduced until later, and this is heavy on the slow burn. Emelie is an original character that uses She/Her and They/Them pronouns but I tried to limit the descriptions and use of names so that it could be read as reader insert too.
