Nilou invited some friends to celebrate their successful operation and Cyno taking back his general role. However, the man can't help but look for someone that's not present. After talking with the traveler, he learns that the man was injured and is planning a small celebration of his own when Cyno will be back in Avidya Forest.

-This is my first fanfiction ever! Won't be surprised if it isn't too popular, but I'm writing it just for fun. I'm mainly a lore player, but it's been a long time since I've played through the Sumeru quests, so please correct me if I get any lore wrong! I'll try and cross-reference most information I remember to the wiki to keep things as close to canon as I can. Also this is going to be veryyyy slowburn, since I wanna make sure I keep the characterisation of both Scara and the reader as accurate as I can.
