Al-Haitham has Hanahaki disease and coughs up mourning flowers. Kaveh asks if he can use them for his ascension materials.

Kaveh turns and looks at the book he’d been staring at for five minutes, before clearing his throat and speaking nonchalantly.
“Oh this one? It’s just—“
Kaveh squints and reads slowly, “Dick Fight Island…” his faces explodes in a fury of heat as he tries to comprehend what he just said, all while the mysterious man snickers into his hand trying not to laugh.
“Really,” the man says in disbelief. “Is it good?” He teases making Kaveh regret all his life choices leading up to this moment.

Kaveh visits a newly opened bookstore near his apartment in hopes he’ll find an interesting read, only to find out he’s more interested in the silver haired man he finds flipping through pages, a hint of curiosity swirled in his green eyes that almost seem to sparkle. Kaveh can’t look away.

Summary
Kaveh used to think that Alhaitham had mastered the art of ignoring him. The man would remain unflappable as he continued to read his worn copy of The Origins of Enkanomiyan Language, even when Kaveh was a hair’s breadth away from shattering the windows of their house with his severity of pitch.
No amount of screaming, threats to throw things, or violently waving in front of him could get Alhaitham to pause in his thirst for knowledge. As it turns out, Alhaitham literally just turns his hearing aids off so he doesn’t have to listen to Kaveh.
It’s for this exact reason that Kaveh has decided to learn Sumerian Sign Language.

Fucking congratulations for authoring the top fic in the haikaveh nation. Author said they wrote this before Kaveh's release AND Alhaitham's?? Which, wtf bc other than a few wrong details, author had their characters damn near spot on.
>He laughs incredulously, “Are you jealous?”
Alhaitham’s eyes immediately divert from him and focus elsewhere. He seems to catch his mistake though, and forces his attention back to Kaveh.
The action is subtle but the damage has already been done. Kaveh drops his bag and it hits the floor with a wet thud. “You are! You’re jealous and you’re worried that I went and found a new roommate!”<
Genuinely had to put my phone down and stare at a wall at this. Hoe can someone be so smart yet so stupid
>A small smirk finds its way to Alhaitham’s face. “Do you want to know why I need this ‘brute strength ?’”
“Enlighten me, O knowledgeable one.”
“It’s to pick up all of the slack you leave around here. The dishes won’t do themselves, you know,” he answers flippantly.
He doesn’t even bat an eyelash at Kaveh’s affronted gasp.<

"Oh." Alhaitham offered, eyes slightly wide, feeling a bit of heat creep into his cheeks.
"...Oh?" Cyno repeated, incredulous.
"My apologies."
"How, Haitham?"
"I... Simply thought your judgment was compromised. Or that I was being foolish."
Alhaitham is finally free of his duties of Acting Grand Sage. Finally he can look into some of his own lingering personal research projects, relax, and enjoy some time alone in the desert. Unfortunately for him, his trip to the desert turns out to be far less relaxing than he anticipated, but no less enlightening.
OR Alhaitham finds a wounded Cyno in the desert, treats him, and maybe realizes he cares a bit more than he thought.

Summary
After an accident at work, Kaveh sort of dies. But he is granted a chance to come back to life if he can get three people to shed tears of pure love for him. He thinks that would be easy, since he has so many friends, but soon realises that it's not as easy as he thought it would be.
Meanwhile, a grieving Alhaitham is very confused by this new stranger in Sumeru City who acts so much like Kaveh, but is not Kaveh.
“Well, I promise you, Kaveh will be very okay with it. I’m sure of it.”
“If I’m not convinced, will you be suddenly bringing me a letter allegedly written by Kaveh that expresses his agreement?” Alhaitham asked with a raised eyebrow.
“That letter was written by Kaveh. One hundred percent. I don’t know why you keep doubting me,” Kaveh insisted.

People keep coming up to Kaveh to congratulate him. Kaveh doesn’t really know why, and he’s a little too scared to ask at this point, so he heads back home, content if not a little bemused.
He is, unfortunately, reminded of it the very next day, when the door slams open and Al-Haitham stalks in. “Mind telling me why everyone was congratulating me today?” he demands. “About your pregnancy?"
Or: Al-Haitham is, without a doubt, the most annoying person Kaveh knows. Maybe the world’s second-most annoying person can help Kaveh figure him out.

Nedzu did not expect an email from the famed yet secretive academy, Teyvat Academy. Try as you might, there is little to no information on the small country of Teyvat, only that there are rumors that the whole population is quirkless, and some are experimented on to get 'Visions' or quirks corresponding with the elements. And that they look like a big cult, worshipping people called 'Archons'.
But, the attack on USJ was deadly, and Class 1A is shaken, so perhaps the private school is the safest option. Maybe Nedzu can get more information out of the experience as well.

Older Kaveh's segments are HILARIOUS (when they're not heartwrenching, of course). I kept telling myself after each of his parts ended that I was going to be better with the next one. I wasn't going to cry with laughter, oh no, I WOULD be strong. I then immediately break my own promises. I can't help it. He has no self esteem, so all he has left is humor.
