A large hand pressed down on Kaveh's lower back as a deep, unfamiliar voice hummed appreciatively. Kaveh yelped, thrashing in a futile attempt to escape the unwelcome touch. "H-hey! Who are you?! You can't just put your hands on a stranger!" He shouted, and the man kneeling down to touch him chuckled.
The hand on his back rubbed slow, large circles over his shirt. It was a mockery of a soothing gesture. "Now, now, boy. We're adventurers, same as you. Don't you know it's first come first serve when you enter ruins and find a treasure?"

She has been through a lot of bad things: death of her mom and her best friend, sexual abuse at age of 11. But Jani doesn't let it get her down. She has found loyal friends at CHS, is dating Bob, the cellist, and loves her three-year-old half-sister more than anything.
But suddenly these senior boys, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, show up. They pursue Jani with their obsessive love and claim that she belongs to them. This goes so far that they kidnap Jani and force her into a love triangle with them, otherwise they would kill Jani's little sister or Bob.
Jane has to play along with their perfidious game.
At some point, Eric and Dylan reveal to her, that Jani is supposed to die with them at NBK because the boys believe that the three of them will then go together to a better world.
But Jani is hungry for life, she still has so much to do, so much to discover...
She begins a desperate fight for her life and her little sister's. -
