Summary
During a daring palace raid, feared pirate captain Jihoon abducts Crown Prince Hyunsuk, intending to use him as leverage against the kingdom. Maddie and Doug are spending the day at Hersheypark. At the end of the day, as they are leaving Hersheypark, Maddie gets kidnapped. Maddie doesn’t have much fight in her as she knows if she does get out of this she is just going back to her life with Doug. Eventually she manages to fight back and she makes it out of there alive. But trying to heal from her trauma from the kidnapping is hard enough on its own and it feels completely impossible when she is still with Doug and he blames her for getting kidnapped and gets mad at her for struggling to cope.
