Summary
Kicked out right before the start of his sophomore year of college, Aey arrives in Lumiose City with a lot to secure - housing, a social network, and money for food, rent, and tuition. By a stroke of luck, those first two come easy when he runs into twins, Taunie and Urbain, outside of Hotel Z. And the third, he’s hoping he can secure that through the ZA Royale. However, something’s afoot in Lumiose; Pokemon are behaving strangely, people are at odds with each other, and Taunie thought taking out a loan from the mob would be a good idea. Aey and the rest of Team MZ might soon be in over their heads.
Aey can’t afford to back down, though. Lumiose is the only home he has now, and despite its troubles, the city is the first place where he’s felt safe to be himself. And there is great beauty here - in its art, culture, and its people, one of whom he is slowly, inexplicably, being drawn towards. All of these things - Aey’s going to defend them with everything he’s got.
Taking out that dumb loan may’ve been the greatest setup Taunie could ever achieve as a wingman.

Among the scammed was Thanos, the fans he promoted it to, and anyone else who fell for the Myung-gi mind trick. This trickled to a downward spiral, you would understand if you were in debt by a billion won. Not even a lifetime worth of hard earned work will save you. So Thanos began to drink, snort, pop pills, everything to make him forget his stupid decisions and the signs of life he had left. The only reason he still had his beloved Penthouse was by sheer miracle. Time goes by and instead of moving forward this former musician stopped in his tracks to poof into smoke.
Suddenly the only route Thanos saw left was death.
Obviously he’d never have the balls to do it sober, not right now, but he knew his debt would be lifted from his shoulders and maybe in a twisted way he’d be famous again either by a news report or a missing poster. This is where his plans were suddenly redirected, when by the tug of his wrist he was plucked off the edge.
