There are legends that speak of a group of bandits who roam the savannas and deserts of western Solor. Some tell that they are criminals, outlaws who wreak destruction and leave death in their wake. Others will tell you that they are heroes of old, gods come down to earth. Still others will smile knowingly, tell you it is up to you to decide what you think. These people often know more than they let on.
What does it take to be a Hunter? Wits or strength are useful, of course, but Pearl knows it's not quite so simple. Every Hunter has a motivation. When will it be that she gains hers? Perhaps much, much sooner than she expects. The only thing is- she doesn't know if she'll be ready.
