Togata had been cast as a lingering spirit in the theater of the afterlife waiting for Agni, but when a mysterious red-haired woman bearing the name of "Makima" stated she would conjure him back to the past to create a greater future, Togata is forced to accept the terms of her agreement. As he, the hybrid boy Denji and the fiend Power grow a closer bond as Devil Hunters through their numerous encounters, Togata wrestles with the weight of previous future misdeeds and begins to turn his outside self into the man he is inside.
As increasing irregularities pile up, the trio begins to realize that something is very wrong with the fabric of their reality, and has been for a long time. As revelations mount, Makima proves herself to be both a horrific enemy and a necessary ally against the worse horrors that wait at the doorstep for mankind.
This is intended both as a crossover fic and partially as a fix fic following Chapter 232 without decanonizing it, using a character I loved and had an arc that finished in Fire Punch but which I feel has even more potential for exploration and growth.

Summary
Dr. Legundo hasn't been the same for the past 30 years. Much more of him changed from the war than he would have liked. Just wanting to start a new, he continues his role as a traveling doctor and stops by a small town called Oakhurst. The town seems abandoned except for 14 other travelers he finds that were also drawn there. He's trying to keep his curse under control, but its hard when he's surrounded by people basically starting their own civilization and there's no way out.
Avid has a rude awakening. Well, not rude because Elle, his fledgeling and best friend woke up along with him. They'd been asleep for the past 200 years after some vampires and a witch with a grudge cursed them and Elle into an eternal slumber. It seems the slumber wasn't as eternal as they thought, and now 14 other people reside in the, now abandoned, town he once called home. It doesn't help that there's a fledgeling much younger than him there that looks about the same age that Avid was when he was turned. And, this fledgling's sire is nowhere in sight. Now, Avid is trapped for who knows how long because of the idiot humans that consecrated the beacons.

When David woke up from being tragically impaled, he was in a shed. The wounds were closing slower than they should have, but he would soon find a remedy for that. He stood up and looked around. David was surrounded by tools and taxidermy. What a creative place to dump a body. He scoffed, wondering what exactly the Emersons were planning to do with the rest of the bodies—the actual dead ones. He closed his eyes and reached out, but something felt different. The dark cloud that hovered over his connection to the rest of the pack was gone.
For the first time in a very long time, he felt clarity. Of all the possibilities in the world, it was the Emersons who had finally dealt with Max.
