Adora felt particularly lucky. After all, she had everything she could want. She had a job she loved, and she was in pretty good shape for someone in her late thirties. On top of all that, she was the mother of two wonderful teenagers. Some days were challenging as a single mother, of course, but she had nothing to complain about.
However, her life was turned upside down when someone called, claiming to be the biological mother of her adopted children. The awful woman who had abandoned them at birth.
Among the hundreds of nightmarish scenarios running through Adora's mind at that moment, she would certainly never have expected to fall in love with this woman.

“Sounds like a lot of work,” Catra says with a shrug. “Why not just blow the planet up?”
