First chapter of this fic is straight up just an explanation of some of my original characters and head canons, so you can understand this fic even if you haven't read any of my other fics. Rumi watched as the figure, adorned in his black hanbok and gat, descended from above like an angel of death. Jinu. There was no mistaking it. It was actually him. It was clear he was in his demon form. She could see the glow of his golden eyes, looking right at her.
“Pray for me now…” The chanting increased. Loud and deep.
This wasn’t right.
Something was wrong.
Abruptly, like a puppet who had its strings cut, Jinu fell to the ground, landing harshly on the stage with a resounding thud.
The crowd screamed.
