Even All Might told him to be «realistic» – and that was when Izuku hadn't even going to ask him his question at first when they were alone on the roof. He'd become a hero and give hope to people like him – the abandoned and the desperate – even if he had to do it out of pure spite and principle.
Tokoyami felt abandoned not just by his family, but by his new class too. Even on his way to becoming a hero. How was he supposed to save anyone if he had a panic attack during the license exam? The only precious people in his life were himself, his «quirk», and his beloved aunt.
