While running from her problems again, Emry meets a confident sassy Quarian while living and learning on the Floatilla. She's immediately entranced. Unfortunately life is nothing if not crazy, and she doesn't stick around. Will they meet again? In this universe, anything is possible.
This is part two of Emry's story! This is going to be what Emry gets up to in the two years Shephard is dead. We'll also see bits of what some of the other Normandy crew were up to in this time. This should be fun! Lots of original characters!

Summary
Having stopped the Hive incursion on Eden Prime at the expense of being stuck in Commander Shepard's reality, Crow is offered a place on the Normandy. With nowhere to go, he accepts, and finds himself at the front of the fight against the Collectors, while at the same time trying to learn how to trust the ship's residents. In the end, though... maybe he's not 'stuck' after all.
'The video was of Crow and Tali at a dance machine, Tali stumbling along and Crow tearing up the dance floor to Speed Over Beethoven. At the end of the song, Tali leans on the machine and lets out a breathy giggle.
"Keelah, I'm awful!" she laughed.
"You're not that bad." Crow pats her shoulder, the movement hesitant as though he isn't sure whether his touch is welcome. What little the video captures of his face shows a splitting grin, face flushed dark with exertion, and he looks so damn happy. You would never think someone had shoved a bomb in his friend, or that he'd had an emotional roller coaster of a day.
"So, when you lose to me, I'm a bosht'tet, but you're actually happy losing to Crow?" Joker's voice cuts in from behind the camera.
"Crow is humble."

She shot the energy conduit.
A brilliant burst of light blinded her, and she felt her body burning up in the microseconds it took for the energy wave to hit her. Time seemed to slow to a crawl. She hardly understood what Vendetta meant, 'whence it all began', how it would destroy the Reapers, or if her death would be painful. She hoped not; she thought she deserved a little more than that, after all that she'd sacrificed.
She smiled as it all went dark.
Lieutenant Commander Janine Shepard woke with a start, her lips parched, and her hair matted in sweat. She brought up her omni-tool and displayed the time: 5:27, 17th of March, 2183.

A year after the Archon’s death at the hands of Pathfinder Ryder in 2819, the Kett Empire began sending more forces towards the Heleus Cluster. They especially took a deep interest in the Milky Way species that came aboard the Andromeda Initiative.
As the black hole at the center of the Heleus Cluster started behaving erratically from contact with the Scourge, the Nexus started picking up transmissions from hundreds of years prior over in the Milky Way. This new discovery meant a possible link between the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies via this black hole, a time travel phenomenon thought impossible.
With the intrepid crew of the Tempest planning their route through the black hole, the state of the Milky Way on the other side is that of reconstruction from the Reaper War having ended months prior. The Crucible having destroyed the Reapers yet preserving synthetic life had made Commander Shepard a legend to most.
This is where the road for Commander Shepard and Pathfinder Ryder converges…

Summary

This is a (some could say partially, others could say fully) darker interpretation of the canon romance, though it does stick to canon, many scenes are expanded upon (a few are rewritten either because they don't seem right in canon, or I needed to find a way to fit them) and new ones are made to fully make this story. Characterization of Thane on the other hand, that's ambiguous if you want to consider it canon compliant. Personally I do.

Emma Shepard didn't ask to be brought back to life, didn't ask to work for a shadowy terrorist organization and she sure as hell didn't ask to be sent on a mission to stop an Alien species known as the collectors from abducting humans but if she doesn't do it, no one else will. Building her crew she is willing to do whatever it takes to get to the bottom of the abductions, why they are targeting humans, and finally stop them... at all costs.
