What about the strain of the Reaper war? One person can't save the galaxy alone. In this epic fight, Shepard's relationships are her greatest weapons.
I've tried to write this work like a DLC, in that the timeline and events of the games are mostly unchanged, but additional content has been added. However, as the effects of earlier changes ripple outward, the story becomes more AU.
