Summary
The Drifter has answered the call from across time and space to follow Albrecht Entrati to 1999. Arthur Nightingale chases the ghosts of the past and in the process finds the one person that will play an important part in his future. The Hex are stuck in a time loop. Home is where you make it, kiddo.
This is intended to be a multi-chapter endeavor covering the events of The Hex quest and moving into post-canon storytelling with a set end. As of now it is set to be updated weekly on Saturdays, because I am a sucker with poor impulse control.

Drifter held out his hand to shake like an equal. “Truth be told, if any of us convinces Loid to tell the family the truth, it’ll be the kid.”
Roathe said, “What? Even it can see my wisdom?”
Drifter took his hand back, folded his arms, and raised an eyebrow. “Another term of your good behavior is that if you keep being an asshole, I don't have to come smell the stench.”
Roathe contemplated throwing the grimoire at him. Unfortunately, the value of victory through submission still held true until such time as he remembered everything Albrecht took from him. So he uttered a tired sigh. “I see how it is. I play nice and in return, you delve into the depths of my haunted mind along with me, the better to defeat my inner demons and return my memories.”

The first New Year's Eve was an unmitigated disaster. Entrati gives the Drifter a mysterious "parting gift," leaving them to start the time loop as their strength begins to fail.

The Indifference; the greatest mistake of Albrecht Entrati. Something he has devoted his entire life to defeating, no matter the cost. He had enlisted the help of the Drifter; the older, ill-fated counterpart of the very child who made that fateful deal aboard the Zariman Ten-Zero.
But even It wasn't unworthy of love. The Drifter and his counterpart made sure of that through a few crucial moments in history; a gesture not easily forgotten.
When the Drifter returns from Pluto, frustrated by repeated failures to obtain his desired bounty, It decides to act; It manifests itself on his ship and makes him a deal. A deal so good, he couldn't deny the hope it gave him. For It promised freedom from his disillusioned frustrations with the Origin System.
And so, he took it. He decided to leave it all behind and commit himself to safeguarding a new world on the other side of the universe; a planet full of academies, united under one banner. The second Deal was made.
...He thought he was the only one sent there. How soon that expectation would be dashed.

Summary
I'm not fully caught up in the Old Peace aftermath, but working on it. I've been enjoying it immensely, though, and it's sparked my creativity. So, I casually jotted down a bit of scenes that have been playing out in my head regarding my Drifter and Roathe. I'm not sure this is going anywhere, but I've been having fun with it and figured I'd share it for those who might be interested. I don't really have a set title for this yet either, so forgive the cliche placeholder, lol. (I say from a place of insecurity rather than judgement). Kudos / Comments are always appreciated. <3
Update:
I've now finished the Old Peace, completed the Descendia 21x, and caught up with Roathe's romance. I may not have had a plan with this when I started, but I'm pretty pleased with the direction it's taken. I'm still not sure how many chapters it will have, as I am still working on some stuff. Also, I feel I should warn, I am only lightly editing this. I don't have a lot of time or energy to do an extensive review for each chapter right now, so please forgive any typos or errors found.Anyways, I've had so much fun writing Drifter and Roathe, and I can only hope you have just a good a time reading it!

"C'mon. Let's get washed up." Revenant says as he gets up, helping Caliban up too.
"Okay…" Caliban says, his voice hoarse from moaning so much.
They walk down the grass of the Drifter's Camp, sitting on the river side. Revenant helps clean up Caliban with the fresh water, even though its not perfect. Revenant does the same to himself, wrapping his arms around Caliban. They sit together while the sun quickly evaporates the water off of the two.

Caliban is sitting on a rock, far far away from Cetus. Revenant sits behind him, one arm around his waist and his hand holding onto his shoulder. Caliban gasps softly as Revenant runs his hands over his sides and thigh. Sol lays its last beams of light over the two warframes, leaving Lua alone to reflect light onto them from another angle.
("Mon Cheri" means "My dear" in french, if you didn't know.)

Stranded in 1999, the Drifter is drawn into the world of the Hex; a group bound by secrets, survival, and a timeline gone wrong. Follow the uneasy alliances growing into friendship as missions, late nights, and shared scars turn the Hex into something like family. Drifter wasn't sure what they were thinking when they made that split second decision, but they'll make sure they don't regret it. They've known these misfits for 24 hours and they'll do everything in their power to let them live.
Chapters will release on Mondays and Fridays so I can have some consistency, and I'm mad that I have to state this but no AI was used in the writing of this work. I just have a lot of thoughts and busy hands lol.
