His charming facade had given way to violent outbursts and cruel demands. As his increasingly poor treatment begins to take it's toll, Angel has lost all hope. The Morningstars, unable to help him out of his predicament have sent their best Knight to protect him among the finery of the Vee Castle. The gruff, battle hardened Husk at first seems like an additional punishment, until he shows that he too, has something soft beneath his armor.

He didn’t tell Alastor, whose interest had never been expressed. An important part of him knew he’d never go for it—not for himself, anyway. Maybe with enough convincing, he’d throw in the towel out of love for Lucifer, but it wouldn’t be right. He would not allow that.
That was okay.
He was okay with it, really.
He had Charlie and Alastor, after all.
Lucifer forgets the truth as soon as he realizes it. They say the truth will set you free, and Lucifer has no intention of cutting it loose any time soon. Letting it fester has it's consequences.

Alastor has always had a complicated relationship with sex, even while alive. Never enjoying it, and finding most aspects of it disgusting.

Often, he heard it while he was alive, but now that he is dead, he thinks he no longer has to deal with this. Until he meets Lucifer, their relationship is unique to him, and it is something he likes, but over time, Lucifer starts to ask for more. He wants to take the relationship further. Despite Alastor's initial rejection, eventually he relents. Only it goes exactly as he expects. After the pain from such a terrible experience, can they repair their relationship, or will it be doomed forever? Can a touch-starved, romantic person be with someone who is both touch-averse and Aroace?

Alastor met the others at the center of the arena, ears perking at the prospect of a four on one match.
“Feels like a hell of a lot of overkill,” Lucifer said, shooting him a look. “Pretty unfair odds?”
“You’re welcome to find a fifth if you’re so concerned,” Alastor replied as he examined his claws.
Lucifer’s eye twitched, his whip-like tail lashing. “Let’s just get this over with so I can teach Charlie and her team how a real pro plays.”
Charlie stepped between hem, brow pinched. “I really don’t think this is necessary. We need a Strategist and Alastor’s one of the best!”
“Says who?” Angel grumbled. “The Vees have been doin’ just fine without him.”
Alastor didn’t rise to the bait, instead signaling to Husk. The lights around them flashed, indicating the match was about to begin.

When Alastor leaves the Vees and becomes the Hazbin’s Strategist, he expects some growing pains with the newer, dysfunctional team. The last thing he expects is for Lucifer Morningstar, the best player in the sport’s history, to come out of retirement and join too.
