Following the events of his failed ascension, Vox isn't doing too hot. When confronted with the opportunity to turn his life around, he takes it with minimal hesitation -- only this miracle isn't what it seems.

A sinner grabbed onto his shirt, hauling themselves up to his eye level: “Are you here for my time machine? Are you?”
Vox's claws latched onto the (apparently) reptilian sinner’s lab coat, wrenching them away from him on pure instinct.
“What–”
“ —My time machine! I've been waiting for you, Sir–”
Vox swallowed. It was a trap. It was a trap. But he was already here, and he had nothing to lose, did he? His ratings could, realistically, not go lower than they already were. He was an Overlord, no matter what the populace had to say about it. He could take one measly sinner.
“Yes,” he found himself saying. “I'm here for that. Where is it?”
The sinner's eyes widened with an almost manic fervour, fingers tightening in his dress shirt. “In one of the meeting rooms—”
For the second time in the day, Vox vanished from the room with a flash of electricity – only this time, he took someone with him.

What if, in this world, everyone else in the hotel, except Charlie and Vaggie, is a kid?
Hell does not discriminate. It does not matter if you are an adult or a child; as long as you do not match the standards of Heaven, you will be sent to the south side.
Angel Dust, Alastor, Niffty, Husk, Cheri Bomb, and Sir Pentious are all kids and teens who are currently trapped in hell.
Being a kid is not easy in hell; exterminations are the least of your problems. There are other things to worry about, like shitty adults.
Then suddenly this Princess out of nowhere pitches this idea that you can go to heaven?
She must be high on drugs because no way an adult like her would look out for kids like them.
Would she?
Charlie will be in a hell of a time with these kids around the hotel. She’s got a tough road ahead. Not only does she need to redeem her guests before the extermination starts, but she also has to rebuild their trust after facing so much pain from adults time and time again. Will she be able to earn their trust and help them heal, or will she end up failing and losing these souls to the mercy of heaven?

“Val.” The tone Vox uses is perhaps too sharp, and the media demon quickly backtracks, “I just… I don’t get it.”
There is a moment of silence, and for a second, Vox wonders if Val had just opted to ignore him when the other speaks up.
“I…” Val hesitates, like he does when he doesn’t quite know what to say, “yeah. I’m pretty fucking mad at you. I mean, how could I not be? You treat us like assets instead of partners for weeks, downplay the work both Velvette and I did to hype up your rally, tried to fucking kill us-”
Val’s arms are trembling, and that ugly feeling Vox cant quite name builds up in his chest. He had not even realized Val had stopped talking to breathe, until the silence catches up to him.
“…Val?”
“…But,” Val breathes, “you also tried to kill yourself. And I don’t like that.”
The words are quiet. Vulnerable. Vox wants to turn his head to look at his business partner, but Val’s thin arms are strong enough to hold him in place.

Cali was never a good person - she never tried to be a good person. She always knew that her work was illegal, but taking bribes to falsely report on illicit organizations and their leaders, making them look better to the public and authorities, turned a massive profit for her. Allowing her to pursue her love of journalism.
She knew that people believed her lies, she knew that she was constantly driving innocents into the hands of criminals. But none of that ever mattered to Cali, that is, until she was hired by Vincent Whittman to promote himself and his cult. She found herself in over her head, entangled with the cult and its charismatic leader until her suicide shortly after Vincent's death.
In Hell, she continued her work, eventually becoming an Overlord by slowly and quietly making deals, building souls over the centuries. After Adam is killed, Vincent, known in Hell as Vox, has the idea to use the Hazbin Hotel to his benefit in order to wage war against Heaven and to take the role of God. He calls on Cali once again, knowing that only she can spin his words the way he needs in order to gain power and the support of Hell's people.

Alastor just waved his hand dismissively, and Vox instinctively fell silent, a subtle static buzzing across his screen as Alastor let the final blow land with a barking laugh.
"Lies, Vincent. I thought you knew that. I didn't realise you had become soft."

Vincent had died a brutal death, crushed and electrocuted in the heat of a baptism, and found himself in Hell, not surprising, in a body that wasn't his. He knew well that loyalties had to be taken at an arm's length and friendships had to be double guessed. So maybe it was his own fault for growing attached.OR: Vox's time in Hell, from the start to the man we know today.

As he find's... there's a skeleton in Vox's closet that sheds a whole new light on a man he swore he knew everything about.
Meanwhile the memories of their decades spent together come to mind. From their first meeting, to the developing relationship that changes from protégé, to friend, to something that could not be quite defined as lover or friend. Their once flourishing friendship warping into codependency that eventually leads to their violent falling out.
