Kai is a quiet girl. Or at least, she’s trying to be.
Between her "human alarm clock" roommate Tracy, the jerk-posse leader Clint, and her sworn enemy Adrian Thorne (who she absolutely did not just have a romantic dream about, shut up), Kai’s peace of mind is basically non-existent. A Stitch in Time is a slow burn Holmes x OC romance threaded through with family drama, casefic mystery, and a creeping, almost fairy tale sense that something older is waking in the shadows of London. It follows a consulting detective who does not believe in magic, a woman who refuses to be only a victim or a muse, and the Holmes family as they learn that protecting one small, stubborn heart may be the most complicated case they will ever take. (This does not follow the Enola Holmes or Sherlock Holmes stories but does reference them. In a very loose way is similar to ‘Cheating Men Must Die’/Pataphysics world hopping.)

All art I’ve included will be on another ‘works’ instead of trying to attach it here. That way I can just update them as I finish drawing them.
I am rewriting the end of act two so this is now a WIP but I think it will be better than what I’ve currently written/was going to post. I apologize to those that are reading this fic. Thank you for being patient with me.
