On Velocitron, where Wheel and Road are law, a small group of outcasts must band together to make their own fate.
When writing Lord of Velocitron, I looked to a few different avenues for inspiration. Of course, it's based off of Hasbro's Transformers; I use characters from Transformers RID 2001 (Or Car Robots as it's known elsewhere) and Transformers Prime. I took the basic premise from the idea of the Speedia 500 subline from a few years back, where Scourge and abunch of other characters got into a race for the Planet Cup. More than anything though, I took the core of my inspiration from the Civil Rights movement.
I based the plight of the Combatron Corps especially off of the Harlem Hellfighters. At its core, Lord of Velocitron is a story about Classism. How the Elites pit other minorities against each other for their own benefit and the effect of Classism on the downtrodden. Through Scourge I also posed a question: if you had the power to stop evil people from doing evil things, would you?
Lord of Velocitron is 26 Chapters long, including the Prologue. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing it.
