On this particular day, the broadcast ended in screams and static. Alastor soon found that most people in New Orleans had died… and others had taken on a strange form. He retreated back to his cabin and began doing nightly radio broadcasts to document the apocalypse.
In other words, a single broadcast is what brought them together at the end of the world.
