Nearing the end of his senior year, a guy named Azure decides to try and win the attention of a group of people he's interested in befriending. Having spent most of his high school years stuck with the same stupid jocks, he wants to find somewhere where he feels like he can belong. In fear that it's too late, he tries to impress the group by trying to win his class science competition with something he is passionate about, which is botany.

Tending to a field of his own was bound to become a weapon anyone could use against him, especially with how easy it is to get attached to your own time and effort.
But, he could take a risk, couldn't he? If that flower field lasted as long as it did, who's to say his… garden, of sorts, couldn't?
With the limited knowledge Yungy had about planting flowers and gardening, he might just kill those daisies out of negligence or unawareness. If he wanted to try this new pass-time of his, he'd have to learn the basics somewhere.

First person POV Fitz, because it feels wrong to write him any other way. It alternates later, he’s the only one in first person, I promise. This started off as excuse to do a POV outsider of Merlin, and write about magic, and has snowballed.
It's done-ish, but plan is to come back to it at some point and write another arc. I just don't want it hanging right now

So anyways yeah ignore that- basically some 15 year old hermit is really lost. Like astronomically lost. Like can’t find her way back to her own world lost.
What if the first of the Edain was discovered before the year 310 of the first age? Scraping by an existence in a treehouse in the mountains? And is very much unwilling to leave said treehouse?
Long story short- shit hits the fan INCREDIBLY quickly and poor Sonja is thrust into a world of utmost peril and grievance that she did not sign up for.
How long will she last in this land of darkness and destruction before some real sad shit happens?
(Hint: not particularly long)
Highly inspired by a book on surviving any natural environment possible I forgot the name it’s got a bunch of knots and structures and spider cooking and fish trapping techniques it’s a German children’s book I still adore it to this day I need to find it somewhere. Anyways I WILL be eventually including it and referencing it because it’s camp as fuck. Pun not intended.
