Our story? A disenchanted NYC lawyer moves to rural Ireland, unintentionally entangling herself with the Wood-Elves of Hobbit fame that never departed Middle-earth. An Irish ex-con plus colorful friends soon follow and life is never the same. The deeds and achievements of the younger race of Men in all their splendor and horror unveil to the ancient, immortal and arguably stagnated race of Elves, leaving much to be explored of society, history, culture and beyond. More than two decades’ story time tell a tale of social collapse, families that grow under one very large roof, battles against past and present traumas, prejudices, and the slow return of the great First Age Elves to the light of day. Eru Ilúvatar had a plan for this world of Arda. Tolkien never elaborated. So a little voice said: "Go finish the Ainulindalë." And we respectively said: "Okay. “Come on.” Maedhros grabbed his hand and pulled him along down the path, both of them quickening their pace now, until the trees opened up into a wide meadow filled with flowers, bright yellow celandine and dandelions and sweet-scented pale chamomile mingling with cornflowers and irises. On the other side of it was a larger party than Maglor had ever seen in Lórien—five figures sitting in the grass. Huan barked again, and they all looked up. “It seems everyone has come to fetch us home,” Maedhros said, laughing, as all their brothers scrambled to their feet.
After years in Lórien, Maglor and Maedhros are ready to return to their family and to make something new with their lives--but to move forward, all of Fëanor's sons must decide how, or if, they can ever reconcile with their father.

Summary
Never have I ever written an ABO story, until now.
The usual suspects in a different setting but still having family dynamics from hell and so many grievances. Also, everybody is even younger and more confused than the last time. It is still Arda in spirit and custom but geographically it is more like Earthsea.
Like I feared, this turned out to be a somewhat epic endeavor, with a bunch of children craving attention, mysteries, agricultural problems, battles of different kinds, dreams, omens and portents, Dwarrow, fertility rituals, good and evil Valar and me being unexpectedly lenient towards Kings Thingol and Ingwë. And of course there are dragons, too.
There probably should be more sex, and less meetings, but there is a war to be waged and people to be saved, so busy parents have to take what they can get.
So, Prince Fëanáro is returning to the Isle of Tirion from a bout of island hopping....

Canafinwë, after arriving in Beleriand, wanders about the borders of Doriath, not remembering his past, and sings where Lúthien hears him. They both seem to be enchanted by each other. At the same time, due to the loss of Maglor, Feanor does not rush into a suicidal attack, and becomes the High King of the Noldor.

____________September 1971: Three months after the custodial death of Comrade Elros, the Fëanorians are still reeling. Maedhros and Maglor haven't spoken a word to each other. Celegorm and Curufin are at each other’s throats over young Celebrimbor’s decision to join the Party. Maedhros and Fingon sleep in separate rooms.
Under such circumstances, the entire cliff-house cabal cramming into Fingon’s five-seater for a road trip to watch Elros’ favourite animal migration, promises to be disastrous at best and impossible at worst, especially once they run into eco-tourism developers Legolas and Gimli. Still, the good Comrade has always had a knack for the impossible.

For this month’s SWG-challenge ‘The Only Thing To Fear’, I tried something a little different- which was to write short ficlets for as many prompts as possible. (Admittedly, I wanted them to be drabbles at first, but I just couldn’t manage).
Some of these turned more into PTSD-stories than phobias, but I think it still fits the challenge.

Eithelas is one of the brothers I gave Legolas in my A Creature of Two Worlds arc, where he plays an important part.
Brellas is also my character and he was one of Caranthir's lovers in my First Age Arc and in my Fourth Age and Beyond arc.

Summary
Fëanor did not know how to explain the ill-defined uneasiness and the almost instinctual dislike he felt, how impossible it was to reconcile the impression he had gotten from the tapestry in Mandos to the reality of Daeron in person, in life. “He seems careless,” he said, because he did not know how else to explain.
“That is certainly not true,” said Nerdanel, “though I know well that I cannot expect you to take my word for it. It is long since you placed any trust in anyone’s judgment aside from your own, flawed though it is.”
Midwinter is meant to be a time of feasting and merriment, but Fëanor does not find it so, especially with Daeron of Doriath in attendance.
