With a Little Twist: Along with Merlin, follows two young boys of his. His tremendous bundles of joy yet bane of his existence.
Together, the two boys unintentionally pull the two lost lovers back together in the absolute most bizarre place: An airplanes’ first class cabin.
What else could be said in that situation but, “That’s my son!"

Summary

Searching through the Mist, Merlin leaves his old life behind in search of a new destiny, which brings him to Paris, 1643. In a land of feuds and a time of revolution, among old faces as well as new, Merlin searches for meaning side by side with Arthur again. But whether he can come to terms with their differences, or accept his feelings for this new Arthur, all the while protecting him, may be a greater challenge than he signed up for.

Merlin’s magic takes him on a journey through time to Musketeer Era France, where he meets Arthur, the Captain of the King’s Red Guard. Ruthless, bloodthirsty, and emotionally closed off, Merlin seems unable to deny anything this new Arthur asks of him.

“I am just about to go get your dinner,” Merlin said, not looking up from his current job, “I’m a bit behind as I was helping Gwen earlier.”
Arthur didn’t respond but he walked over to Merlin. Merlin looked up as Arthur was upon him, a look of fury in his eyes. It was too late for Merlin to move as Arthur shoved him back. The armour fell to the ground as Merlin stumbled backwards.
“Wha-?” Merlin started to ask but was cut off as Arthur slapped him across the face, his eyes red with anger. Merlin backed away, his hand on his burning cheek, confusion and hurt in his eyes.

Arthur has been cursed but the only one that realises is Merlin. Now, he just needs to work out how to break it before Arthur kills him
