He learns that really, he knew absolutely nothing before Merlin came into his life, everyone he thought were his enemies are friends, his friends are all cruel people (one more princess joke Gwaine... see what happens) and his sister is a meddling witch. No, really.
Oh, and apparently his soulmate is a god.

Agravaine has been defeated and so has Morgana, Camelot is safer than ever. While Arthur and Gwen plan their wedding Merlin sets off on a journey to save Morgana from the Tower and heal her. It’s been several hours since the fight that took his brother’s life and Chosen is still reeling. But there’s no time because all of that fighting caught the attention of hired mercenaries who have come to deliver punishment for Chosen’s crimes. While escaping, Chosen is hit and falls into the water. Before he has a chance to orient himself or recover, he’s surfacing somewhere totally new. Then going back under. Curse his inability to swim.
Merlin was sending off his king when the world decided to throw him a curveball in the form of a weird teenager who he had to save from drowning. He is so not in the mood for this.

Summary
Mordred never meant to be knighted while being a teenager. It just sort of, happened. Yes, it was against the law to be a knight and be under 18 summers old, but that wasn't Mordred's fault. On top of that, Mordred was much more than a simple 15 year old.
With Morgana back in Camelot and everyone happier, Mordred can't help but think something will happen. And, something does in fact happen. After an incident in training, everyone finds out about Mordred's true age. After that, the people around Mordred find out more and more about how much Mordred has truly been hiding from them.

Now, Mordred is being treated like a child by everyone around him. But after he's been through... maybe it's for the best?
