Summary
There's something off about the way Merlin is looking at Arthur. He's nervous, awkward and instead of hiding his suspicious behaviour with insults or jokes. He drowns Arthur's concerns with kisses.
or....
In which Mordred disguises himself as Merlin to destroy Camelot from the inside. However, he mistakenly believes Merlin and Arthur are in an extremely intense, romantic relationship.
Maybe he embodies Merlin a little too well.

Summary
In a medieval-modern fused world where magic is still illegal, Merlin, with no memory of his previous life, enters Camelot, now an eerie, grey maze of a place where elites train to become future political leaders.
The professors are eccentric, the building seems to have a mind of its own, and unluckily for Merlin, combat classes are mandatory and tournaments are highly prized.
The last thing he should be doing is falling for Arthur Pendragon, star swordsman, son of infamous anti-magic proponent Uther and massive whopping prat. Whose life he just can't seem to help saving.
But history is threatening to repeat itself. As Merlin begins to see visions of Arthur's death, can he evade tragedy this time around?

Summary
After Arthur disobeyed his father and retrieved the Mortaeus flower for Merlin's cure, Arthur's frantic pleading to save Merlin led to a misunderstanding that actually convinced Uther to take the flower to Gaius.
Now all Arthur has to do is explain to Merlin why Uther thinks they are lovers.
And while Uther is supportive of the relationship, he requires it kept secret. But in his paranoia, Uther misinterprets every innocent interaction between the two as something far more intimate, to the embarrassment of everyone involved.
And then the knights begin showing up...
Update 27/04/2024: This is long and in-process. So consider a break between story arcs!

Arc 3 - (chapters 71+, in progress) What happens when your father invites every eligible woman to Camelot so you can find your wife like you promised in exchange for saving Merlin? Chaos. -

Summary
When Hunith arrives in Camelot with news of an attack, Merlin knows what he has to do. He is perfectly capable of driving away the likes of Kanen’s men by himself; he has been defending Ealdor since he was ten years old.
However, he has no idea of the lengths Arthur will go to to protect his poor, misguided manservant - such as adopting a disguise and following him home.

Summary
Arthur didn’t do anything wrong. It hadn’t been his fault, really!
All he was guilty of was having idiotic jocks as friends and being the most mature of them all. If Gwaine and Percy actually had had a bit of grey matter in their heads and could understand the risks of breaking into the school at night, surely Arthur wouldn’t be in this place now. -

Summary
Arthur estimated he only had about another third to do of the scarf before he could finish in plenty of time for Merlin’s birthday. It was mainly because the half-completed scarf came everywhere with him.
He partially feared that he would garner a reputation as “the knitting guy” but it was a sacrifice he was willing to make for Merlin’s birthday.
OR:
Arthur and Merlin are roommates and when Merlin’s birthday is coming up Arthur decides to go all out and knit him a new scarf. Secretly learning to knit is already hard enough to hide, but it’s not the only secret that is under threat of being revealed… -

Summary
Merlin - raised by the druids - was taught that his destiny is for Arthur Pendragon to die at his hands, and that would end the Great Purge. It was Emrys who would restore magic to the lands, following the burial of the Pendragon dynasty.
One day, the druids Merlin had grew up with had stained their hands with something similar to Emrys’s sins - they had captured a small group of passer-byers that posed a threat. Two knights from Camelot were among the four.
Emrys had the displeasure of dealing with the intruders first, having to intimidate them until someone with higher authority would decide whether killing them would secure their safety.
Unfortunately, Merlin had always been a curious boy.
He has yet to discover that trying to be anything more than a murderer to these men would be where he met destiny. He was talking with the reason he was born.
What happens when he betrays everything he’s learned just to hope that this prince would reach out over a chance to love? What happens when he binds himself to Arthur using magic?
Will he meet the conditions of being open to learning magic? Will Merlin ever have to meet his own conditions; saving an anti-magic man from danger?

Summary
“How?” Mordred had stuttered, some time later, when they were out of Arthur’s ex’s house and back in the small two-bedroom flat Arthur rented nowadays, black nail polish-adorned hands trembling around the meet&greet tickets. “These sold out in like, less than twenty seconds. H-how?”
“I have my connections,” Arthur had said, mysteriously, and Mordred had rolled his eyes and let it go.
Or; Arthur takes his teenage son to another concert. This time, he has ulterior motives.
