Mordred never meant to be knighted while being a teenager. It just sort of, happened. Yes, it was against the law to be a knight and be under 18 summers old, but that wasn't Mordred's fault. On top of that, Mordred was much more than a simple 15 year old.
With Morgana back in Camelot and everyone happier, Mordred can't help but think something will happen. And, something does in fact happen. After an incident in training, everyone finds out about Mordred's true age. After that, the people around Mordred find out more and more about how much Mordred has truly been hiding from them.

Summary
Merlin - raised by the druids - was taught that his destiny is for Arthur Pendragon to die at his hands, and that would end the Great Purge. It was Emrys who would restore magic to the lands, following the burial of the Pendragon dynasty.
One day, the druids Merlin had grew up with had stained their hands with something similar to Emrys’s sins - they had captured a small group of passer-byers that posed a threat. Two knights from Camelot were among the four.
Emrys had the displeasure of dealing with the intruders first, having to intimidate them until someone with higher authority would decide whether killing them would secure their safety.
Unfortunately, Merlin had always been a curious boy.
He has yet to discover that trying to be anything more than a murderer to these men would be where he met destiny. He was talking with the reason he was born.
What happens when he betrays everything he’s learned just to hope that this prince would reach out over a chance to love? What happens when he binds himself to Arthur using magic?
Will he meet the conditions of being open to learning magic? Will Merlin ever have to meet his own conditions; saving an anti-magic man from danger?

Magic has been legalized. Camelot and the court are getting used to it. But still, Arthur knows better than anyone how quickly a kingdom can change from one reign to another, and he wants to make sure that the protections he has in place for magic users are harder to unbind than just the slash of a quill through rewritten laws.
So he goes to the Druids. Proposes a formal treaty.
He doesn't expect it to come in the form of a marriage proposal, and he really doesn't expect it to be Emrys they want him to marry.

In his last moments he wished for when things were simpler, before things had turned to right shit.
He hadn't expected it to work. What was he supposed to do now? Could he fix everything?

Merlin follows Arthur on his quest to the Perilous lands, returning not just with his friend alive and well but also a new kingdom. Magic has lost so much from the purge and the years after and the first rule of magic is that there must be balance, so it gives back. Creating the Kingdom of Oplaria, ruled by King Emrys.
But Merlin is not so keen to abandon his destiny and Arthur, he spends his time between the two Kingdoms constantly torn between his friendship with Arthur and his duty to his people and magic. He is good at secret identities after all.
But with Arthur constantly sidelining Merlin how long can he make excuses to stay?
And how much will this change not only the Prophecy but also the future of Albion?This is follows the show from Season 3 episode 8 -> Season 4 episode 13 but will include storylines from other episodes.
