However, after the discovery of a gate to a new world, The Enclave war machine slowly stirs, as the smell of a new war awakens the monsters that controlled North America.

Most of the story is narrated by Raditz, but there are lots of twists. He is an unreliable narrator, and in places, altered mental states allow him to take other points of view. We also get interludes from Bulma as she reads and reacts to Raditz's account.
