“Just something to say ‘I miss you’ for Heir’s Return tomorrow.” They mutter.

Monsters have been free on the surface for about two months, and Frisk has a problem: They've been having nightmares every day for almost a week, and they’re getting worse. The source of the nightmares? Mount Ebott and a golden necklace they took from it.
For some reason or another, someone – or something – has latched onto them. Whatever it is, it’s angry, and more unhappy about the arrangement than Frisk could ever know.

After she fell, Chara woke up in a patch of yellow flowers and grass. She was confused about how she had lived from the fall, but even more confused about how she had no wounds AND that she didn't have any memory of what happened after the fall. Now Chara is focused on following Frisk to make sure that they are safe and hopefully see if she can regain her memories, but will she accept the truth of what happened? Can she forgive herself for sins that she was told that she had committed, or realize the abuse that she had suffered before she fell?
TW: Suicide, abuse (Physical, verbal, and emotional), some cussing, and mentions of a parent's death (a mother) during childbirth.

A movement by one of the pillars catches their attention, and they whirl around to watch another human emerge from behind it, quivering. Only, they don't... seem very human. In Deltarune's world, Chara and Frisk both run away from their 'homes' the same night. Unbeknownst from each other, they still arrive at the same little town.
Wounded, Chara has to be taken in. With nowhere else to go, Frisk is sent with them to stay with Toriel for the time being.
Kris is not too happy about this, especially since soon, everything will be set into motion. Two human kids, one acting out and the other curious to a concerning extent, will only make it harder for them. At least it can't get even more complicated.
...why is there a third one and why are they here ?? To... 'find the missing kid' ?
