Summoned to another world and transformed into something inhuman, a young woman becomes the unwilling Saintess. To return home, she must survive a kingdom full of magic, monsters, and people who don't have a single brain cell between them.
Unfortunately, she has no powers, no patience, and no idea why two men- Hilbert Von duk Freeziepool and Gogry De Von Traey Woudburg the 8th- are drawn to her.
Caught between prophecy, politics, and two misguided suitors she never asked for, she sets out to prove one thing:
Just because she's the Bear of Destiny doesn't mean she's doing it their way.

The World reset in 300 AG, two cycles after Korra.
The reasons were known, however, documentation proved hard.
From then on, cycles of Avatars were hunted and lynched to pay for their “crimes.”
The world, post-apocalyptic, rebuilt itself into prosperity without the Avatar. From then, grew an age where the Avatar, never to be loved, always to be hated, was not needed.
The Avatars quickly figured it out, to help from the shadows and hide in plain sight.
Until a fire-born Avatar found a little girl in a water tribe willing to be his mascot and his face, to improve his reputation for the safety of all future Avatars and the World—
—That kids no one. There is no noble way to put it, the Avatar is conspiring with a child to create a False Avatar.
Soon enough, the little girl turns on him as well. “You are not fit to be the Avatar.”
“I’ll kill you and take your place.”
“Will you?” His question glinted with a flame of mockery.
She said. “A flame put out and put back isn’t the same flame. Is that not how the cycle works? Regardless, whether it is me or isn’t me… The next Avatar will be better!”

All Rhys wanted to do was to coast along in life without a care in the world. While completely freeing himself of responsibility was impossible, The closest he can get is to it is to become a Keeper for the local Guardian, Yuzuha, who remained asleep for a full century and counting. The most action a Keeper sees daily is handling the occasional visitor to the temple, and keeping said temple clean and maintained. The former can be handled by the other Keeper he'll be partnered up with, and the latter can be dealt with via creative use of magic. It sounds like the perfect dream job for a person with aspirations of easy living.
As long as Yuzuha remains asleep that is. But what are the chances of that ever happening?
