Everyone else have been trying to get them together but to no avail, since both of them can be stubborn to talk about their feelings to each other.
One day, in a project for their class, Karkat and Dave paired up as per usual as an excuse to spend time together. Although this time is different, because Dave finally let Karkat do their project at his place.
