Summary
Chapters 1-3: While studying redemption is a great idea and all, Charlie and Vaggi would appreciate it a little more if Baxter actually participated in it, too. This incessant pressuring understandably pushes him to anger, though he manages to unload many of his frustrations at the bar.
Chapters 4-6: After finally locating the issue with his bio-dome's ventilation system, Baxter heads out into the city to find the necessary items for fixing it. He doesn't appreciate the coddling performed by Charlie, having survived on his own in Hell for decades already. Even if he acknowledges the threat of the Vees after his open betrayal. Somehow, all of this doesn't end well.
Chapter 7: Redemption? Oh, right! That's what the hotel's for! Baxter, of course, has to go ahead and ask the difficult questions.
Chapter 8-10: Having had enough of the broken communication between Baxter and Sir Pentious, Charlie and Vaggi decide to force the two to face their awkward past.

They are sitting on their heels facing each other on the bed. Emotions are free to be observed by each other, and Alhaitham is as always calm and collected. But there's a slight quirk at the corners of his lips that has never failed to slow Dottore's breath. The glimmers of fondness in Alhaitham's eyes are polluting Dottore's mind with too much hope, so Dottore resolutely looks past Alhaitham without averting his eyes.
Alhaitham lets out an amused exhale and tilts his head, the hair ornaments his roommate must have forced him to wear make a crisp sound, "Zandik… Doctor, my mate," Alhaitham notices with amusement how Dottore's wings are flapping excitedly behind him, "will you accept it if I said my reason was because I am as attached to you as you are to me?"
Dottore freezes. Then his wings are spread in happiness. He grabs Alhaitham's shoulders and pulls him into an embrace before falling backwards to the bed.

The merge fucked up even more things as the past, present, and future events smashed themselves together alongside the other realms. And suddenly there's multiple kingdoms and the ninja are not surviving well. At all.
Meanwhile, Arin and Sora are just struggling to survive without the usual stability in canon. Fun times.
