Fury didn't understand how it happened. How only this girl survived. She didn't seem dangerous. But the holes and deep cuts in the Hydra soldiers and scientists told a different story.
The girl didn't struggle when they cuffed her bloodied form. The only thing she said was a silent 'Bury them'. She didn't talk about the soldiers but two boys laying there, bullet holes in their heads.
They asked her name. She didn't answer. Her uniform read 'Angel'. It was a codename, but so they called her that. They didn't know the origin. They didn't know her story. Just that she didn't talk. Didn't protest, even when they locked her away under top security, chained against a wall, barely any light.
Kept her away from the world.
Until they needed someone able to create a carnage like at that base.

After losing a spar against Bigtail, Pike's rivalry with the Nightwing heats up.
A Slice of Life Wings of Fire fic that focuses on the silly antics of the Gold and Jade winglets, Bigtail and Pike especially. Expect gambling and gay people sparring.
Bigtail is your average Nightwing dragonet. Always sick, always grumpy, has dark scales, you get the gist. Being in the worst winglet in all of Jade Mountain certainly doesn't help with your grumpiness, but he'll push through anyway. For his parents. Even if it means having to go along with whatever bullshit his clawmates (mainly Pike) make him do.
Pike is NOT your average Seawing dragonet. Don't tell anyone, but he's actually an undercover guard for the future Queen. The strongest, fastest, smartest Seawing for the job. For some reason though, he's also part of the most pathetic winglet of dragons he's ever seen. (Besides Tamarin and himself of course,) worst part is, at every turn, he's greeted by a insolent Nightwing.
