Ridiculously careful, Vox combs his sharp claws through the red hair. Through the lush bangs, over the velvety soft ears folded back. Alastor doesn’t stir. His face turned away from him. Yet every now and then he blinks. Slowly, so slowly that Vox can almost believe he’s enjoying it.

Baihu, a witness to the eternal struggle between Hell and Heaven, has always stood in Zestial's shadow. For centuries, she has been loyal to the overlord and carried out every task that he entrusted to her without question. Swearing her devotion to the overlord has been effortless, as they stood witness to the shifting, fragile landscape of Hell and its ever-changing hierarchies and dynamics. After centuries by each other's sides, it had become second nature for them to rely on their unwavering loyalty for their very survival. However, now Zestial has entrusted Baihu with the unprecedented task of personally delving into the Radio Demon's motivations, leaving her to question her companion's intentions. Shrouded in anonymity and accustomed to the shadows, she is thrust into the unfamiliar territory of surveilling Alastor and the hotel's residents. It's a jarring change from the life she had built for herself, and the close proximity to the enigmatic Radio Demon stirs unexpected emotions and thoughts within her.
However, the path to hell is often paved with good intentions and surrounded by lost opportunities.

Summary
Keeping the peace in the Hotel was proving more and more difficult for Alastor now that Lucifer had moved in, but he tried his best to remain polite and not try to kill the King of Hell even if he did keep destroying his property.
For his part, Lucifer was finding entertainment where he could by pissing off the red headed deer and watching him struggle to not lose his ever loving shit to remain in his daughter's good books.
However, when Alastor proposes at least a temporary truce to keep the Hotel safe, Lucifer begins to see the Radio Demon as more than a rival and perhaps a possible ally.
And when Lucifer organised an accidental date, well, maybe Alastor's mind began to change as well, even if he had never thought of anyone in that way before.

“ Are you proposing to do something for me, Angel?” Alastor raises an eyebrow. “ I may not know who you are, but I am not naive.”
Angel smiles, “ If it makes you feel any better, I didn’t come over here with this intention. You intrigued me all on your own. It’s a compliment. I’m not what you’d consider a slut, Alastor. A whore would be more fitting, I guess.” Angel tilts his head, “ Right, well … since you don’t know anythin' about me, I guess some things get to be secrets until you find out for yourself.”
“ Secrets, huh?” Alastor smirks, “ Then in your words, you have also intrigued me all on your own.”
Alastor crosses paths with Angel, the former porn star turned self employed escort and Husk, the gambling overlord and Angel’s partner. The three of them find themselves in a whirlwind of complicated feelings, light jealousy, difficult conversations, and romantic entanglements. However, their bonds through it all will help each of them understand and accept parts of each other and themselves.

Summary
Once Vox went by a different name. Not Vincent. A different name that brought him shame and tasted bitter on his tongue. Even then, some of his happiest memories are from when he bore that name. But now those memories are tainted by his current reality and rivalry with the Radio Demon.
Unbeknownst to everyone but himself, Vox and Alastor knew each other once while in life. It was a secret he had carried for decades but now as he lay broken in the wake of his defeat he couldn’t help himself to spit the truth back in Alastor’s face. The look of shock on the face of his once husband was the greatest present to Vox as he welcomed the promise of death with open arms.
His only regret? Not being able to see his daughter in Heaven one last time.

Alastor: Shut it. Lucifer answered the door in – I kid you not, my fellow hellions, it was a duck onesie. It was yellow fleece, with a little orange bill on his forehead.
Lucifer: Ugh.
Alastor: I’m telling you, it was outrageous. I tightened my grip on my staff, thinking what a nitwit he was.
Lucifer: Hey!
Alastor: Stop interrupting – we had a deal. Are you done?
Lucifer: … Are you done being an attention whore?
Alastor: No. Anway, Charlie was hyperventilating. “Mom called! Mom called me back! She’s coming home! She’s gonna be here any fucking minute!”
And I watched Lucifer’s cherubic little off-the-cob expression fall.

Lucifer: Fuck you.

Summary
Coffee and radio first embraced in the 1920s.
As the vacuum tubes warmed up and emitted their first hum, someone always had a coffee pot gurgling nearby. The roasted aroma kept radio announcers awake in the wee hours, and the airwaves carried that same scent to millions of kitchens where people gathered around the machine, a cup in hand.
Brands like Maxwell House and Chase & Sanborn paid jazz orchestras so that listeners would associate each melody with the taste of freshly brewed coffee. Radio sold coffee; coffee kept the radio on. They were the same warm respite in the cold of the night, two vices necessary for survival in that era.
While one awakens the body, the other keeps the mind awake. Together, they never let the world sleep.
And that seemed perfect to a demon who serves both with a smile.
