He was finally starting to trust, and with this he's determined he's not going to give his heart out, regardless of if Charlie feels bad or not. Alastor needs to remind everyone: It is NOT his job to manage their feelings. His reaction to their abandonment does not require pity, and if they feel bad for their actions, well--who's fault is that, hmm? 'It starts with sorry' but that doesn't mean he has to forgive them...
Slow burn found family, Vox is also a main character, and Valentino is a much more calculating abuser than he is in the show.

Even now he can see the zeppelin with a poor quality and blurred picture of himself climbing up to Heaven from his tower, the words ‘Don’t Miss It! It makes his ears flatten, and a growl leaves his lips as he watches it.
His eyes drift to the other side of the tower, the one where he could see the apple tower from, wondering if Lucifer was even aware of it all, despite the blaring advertisement flying over the Hazbin Hotel right now. Either the little Devil was freaking out in his tower, or fully asleep or absorbed in one of his projects, continuously oblivious to the world around him.

Charlie and Vaggi find a half-angel half-human baby. Feeling his parental instincts going wild and having knowledge of half-angels, Lucifer offers to take care of her. It all goes well, too well, until they are attacked.
Injured and powers draining, Lucifer summons a portal to take him and the baby somewhere safe by Charlie's command.
Only, the portal leaves him in 1930, powerless and floundering. Oh, and past Alastor is here! How nice. Gosh, Lucifer hates that guy.

With the events after the battle with the Vee's wrapped up with a fine tuned bow, Alastor must navigate the aftermath that comes with it. That means juggling through unknown feelings that keep poking out, taking care of the hotel's resident angel and further the unexpected arrival of the missing Queen of Hell. As for Lucifer, he is now faced with accepting his own bubbling feelings and the hurt and confusion that comes with the return of his wife.
