While they stand above all, most people have the impression that they are where they are because they were born with a silver spoon and were born into a wealthy and well-known family with ample means to develop their fighting skills and sharpen their talent to achieve this sort of priceless adulation and glory. But that only leads them to severely undermine the painful pasts and obstacles they had to carve and crawl out of to reach their hard-earned goal. But it has led them to firmly believe that they are the only ones in the world who can understand themselves. Perhaps if fate itself were to allure them to cross paths with each other, away from the eyes of the outside world, they would finally realize that they aren't alone, that they have someone who they can relate to, before completely losing themselves in the beautiful company of their significant other over their similar beliefs and hobbies.

Saturn, in his desperation to save Cyrus, takes him to the only place he can think of: The Harbor Inn. Jupiter and Mars come at his call, but it seems Saturn's attempt to help has done more harm than good: Cyrus, ill and wounded, soon falls into a sleep from which they cannot wake him, calling out one name: Darkrai.

Legally declared dead after five years in the Distortion World, Cyrus is pulled back from Giratina's Realm to a world that he has never understood, with everything he once had completely gone.
When it's decided that rehabilitation is the best course of action for him, he's shipped off to Unova to make a life for himself in the small community of Anville Town. It has a train station and little else.
He doesn't want to understand his sappy, soft-hearted neighbors. He doesn't want to acknowledge the former Team Plasma member who's been studying him like an insect since his arrival. He doesn't want anything more than to crush down the pathetic emotions he still feels.
The only thing he's certain of anymore is that he is incapable of change.
