Once reunited they make a plan to get back to their own universe which consist of stilling a portal generator being stored in a government facility. It should be easy if it weren't for this universe them being fugitives of the law and the 'x-men ' that the government has sent apprehend them. Rap that up with mutant politics/sentenals/1970s glamour and you got Ur self a nice little bed time story.
