He digs his fingers into his calves with a measured intensity, rubbing his thumb from the back of his heel all the way up to the back of his knee. He focuses on getting his body ready and mind in the right headspace. There’s just one issue.
He can feel the heavy weight of someone staring at him.
He lifts his gaze up back towards that group of people from before, the one with the guy eating the clementines and the other man with the cross necklace. They all seem invested in a conversation with the exception of the blond man to the far right.
He has haunted eyes.
